Category Manager - Capex, Test & Experimental equipment (f/m/d) for Aviation

You will work in multifunctional teams and are authorised to take over the moderation and design the supply chain for indirect procurement. Furthermore, you are creating and developing procurement strategies and guidelines in line with the company strategy. The following tasks await you:

You work in multifunctional teams and are authorized to take over the moderation and design the supply chain for indirect procurement.
You are committed to creating and developing procurement strategies and guidelines in line with the company strategy.
As part of procurement, you will evaluate the market and identify potential suppliers, lead supplier selection and contract finalization.
Responsibility for a global supplier network of strategic machinery and consulting suppliers, you will initiate the exchange of information and experience as well as the continuous flow of innovation from the outside to the inside.
Your tasks will include preparing and presenting cost analyses of investment expenditure in the TEX and production areas with regard to safety, time, cost and quality targets.
You will ensure sufficient protection of Lilium's intellectual property (IP) through the systematic use of NDAs and IP sharing agreements and work closely with the legal department to adjust such agreements as needed.
You evaluate supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, delivery, service and technology.
You will ensure that Lilium only uses approved suppliers that comply with DOA Part 21J.
In development projects, you will work closely with the Engineering Quality and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with Lilium's quality management system and EASA Part 21J requirements.

Your profile:

A university degree in business administration, mechanical engineering or a comparable
qualification
Professional experience and knowledge in the areas of goods purchasing, aerospace,
automotive industry and medical technology
Strong communication and leadership skills
A strategic and analytical mindset, as well as a high degree of negotiation skills and
openness to learning
Fluency in English and German as well as other languages is an advantage
Working remotely is possible and submission of an English resume is required
